Our Food Vendor/Exhibitor, Community Group Services and Community Group Catering Expressions of Interest are now live for Energy Breakthrough 2026.

There are plenty of opportunities to get involved and be part of one of the region’s biggest community events.

VOLUNTEERS APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN!

Energy Breakthrough 2026 needs over 700 volunteers to help make this year’s event memorable, fun and safe for more than 5,000 students from 100 schools and 250+ teams in Maryborough this November.

There are plenty of ways to get involved, including HPV and EEV marshals, Pushcarts, TRYathlon, Robotics, judging, event operations, camping, social media and more.

Whether you’re a returning volunteer or joining us for the first time, we’d love to have you on the team.

NOVEMBER IS GOING TO BE HUGE!

For the first time since COVID-19, multiple categories in the Honda-backed Energy Breakthrough have officially SOLD OUT – a fantastic sign that schools are embracing hands-on STEM learning once again.

👏 SOLD OUT categories include:
• Human Powered Vehicle (Primary & Secondary)
• Energy Efficient Vehicles
• TRYathlon (Primary & Secondary)

This incredible response shows the enthusiasm of students, teachers and school communities as they prepare for the biggest week of innovation, engineering and endurance in Maryborough this November.

There’s still time to be part of the action, with limited places remaining in:
🔹 Pushcarts (Primary) – 15 team spots available
🔹 Robotics – 19 team spots available (11 Primary, 8 Secondary)
