No holding back on the pimples that populate the HOP ride, despite the impending 2x SOUPA series events, and/or the inevitable epic endurance rides this long weekend.

Great to see some members of the club who have been in hibernation over the summer months, and others who tend to frequent the gravel more than the road.

Finishing the Soupa Series on 27 June with a final crit at Heffron Park by Randwick Racing, before rolling into Q3 with a stacked calendar.
Please note:
- 4 July will be an elimination crit. Details coming 👀
- No racing 25 July, 1 August, 8 August 🛑
- 26 July we will be hosting CX races
- 5 September will be a reverse crit 🔄
- 12 September retro day 🎉
- No racing 19 September

Auscycling gravel nationals 2026, Ponderosa Pines, SA, May 30/31.
We saw sunshine briefly on Day 2 for the men but it was mostly wet, cold, windy and muddy for both days of racing.
In dry conditions the course would be fast and fun. Sections of gravel, dirt, rocks and beautiful pine forests, close to the scenic Adelaide hills.

There were occasional glimpses of sunshine but otherwise challenging rain, cold and mud for 2 days of racing.
Apart from the weather, the course was beautiful combining gravel, dirt, rocky sections and pine forest floors.

Auscycling Gravel Nationals May 30/31 Ponderosa Pines, SA.

Randwick riders Catherine Boorer (Masters 6) and Jules Marwat (U19) toughed out the cold, wind, mud and rain to finish the gravel nationals in what was a race of attrition for both riders and bikes.

Catherine claimed 4th and Jules 6th in their categories.

.soupa.series kicks off tomorrow! First race is West Head hosted by . Make sure you get your entries in via Buncheur by this afternoon - anyone can enter. Seperate women’s and men’s races too.

Make sure you choose your grade carefully otherwise if you get promoted, you’ll loose your series points, think ⬆️ not ⬇️.

Whilst in Buncheur make sure your club is up to date and you remove the AC from your licence number.

Bragging rights for the club with the most points!
