Just a heads up for anybody going to play at South Lawson. Baskets for holes 1 to 5 are not in the position as marked on Udisc. The basket for hole 2 is 45 metres from where it should be. Blue Mountains Council has been notified and hopefully they'll move baskets into the correct position soon. All tees have been marked with paint for the time being.

Surprise! A new disc golf course is now open and ready to play in the majestical Blue Mountains West of Sydney. Please note that the UDisc course map may not match up exactly with basket locations. Council has not put all the baskets where they were planned. We'll aim to get them moved into their correct positions over the coming weeks. This is a beginner to intermediate friendly course with the current short and medium layouts. We'll work on a long layout shortly. Enjoy.

ADGD 2026

This year marks 50 years of disc sports in Australia. Starting with nothing but a disc and some passionate pioneers 50 years ago we now have over 115 courses, over 1100 tournament players, and almost 100 events around Australia each year.

That is the growth we celebrated at Aussie Disc Golf Day this year. We thank every TD, Volunteer, Club member and player who has been a part of that history.

This year's Aussie Disc Golf day saw 18 events and 480 players take to the course. Congratulations to the national winners!

Don't forget to submit your photos to our photo competition and follow along with the folks over at 50 Years of Flight as they continue to share all of the historic moments that make our sport so special.

What an amazing Aussie Disc Golf Day at the Whalan Whirl - the first of hopefully many more tournaments at this course. Highlights included two aces (Priit and Eorl - both on hole 15), two 1000+ rated rounds (Liam O'Brien and Benn Kennedy), some new players having a blast and a massive black snake spectating inside C1. A full report will come tomorrow but we currently have a couple of division firsts (Mat Wallis in MP50 and Kevin Brooks in MA50) and more than a few top 10 places on the national scoreboard: https://www.pdga.com/aussiediscgolfday/results/2026

Special thanks to Pablo, Mat, Wayne and Paul for making it happen.

Memberships for 2026 are now open. Go to: https://sydneydiscgolf.com/join/

It worked really well last year, so we're continuing with the same membership levels and pricing: 2 membership levels available plus our discounted junior membership and 25% discount for new female players. We already have some new members including 2 new junior players.

Full membership is $90 and gives you heaps of value and benefits. For less frequent players, we have a casual membership for $15 that still provides good value and the essentials for a fun year.

To see a full comparison of the memberships on offer, check out: https://sydneydiscgolf.com/membership/

All new members will receive a bag tag and entry into our Club championship leagues.

The big change for 2026 is that we've now got 3 courses to rotate through and we're splitting our 2 monthly rounds between a serious league day and a fun social day. More details can be found on the web site: https://sydneydiscgolf.com/social/

Our first league day will be in just over a week at North Ryde on 18th January.

Today the Armory hosted the final round of the 2025 Sydney Club Championship and 2 divisions came down to the wire.

Well done and congrats to our double champion, Ethan Stanford, who took out both the Junior and Handicap championships. His brother, Jayden, was runner-up Junior champ and his dad, Chris, was runner-up Handicap champ. Just 1 point separated father and son and ultimately it was a 1 shot difference in today's handicap results that decided the championship.

Our Female Champion is Kairi Koobakene with Michelle Juarez runner-up champ.

In the Male Championship, it was a tight battle between Mat and Priit, with Mat holding a narrow lead going into the round. Priit Kõiv triumphed on the day though, winning both the round and taking the Club Championship. Mat Wallis is our runner-up male champ.

Congrats to all our winners and we'll see you all in 2026 with some big changes on the way for our club social days.
