The Lobethal Cricket Club is an affiliated club of the Lobethal Recreation Ground Sports Club located in the Adelaide Hills. The LCC was formerly affiliated with the Torrens Valley Cricket Association winning the most premierships of any club, including two hauls of 8 consecutive premierships, its most recent in the seasons 2003/04 - 2010/11. LCC has recently parted from the TVCA following its mov

e into the Alexandra & Eastern Hills Cricket Association. The move was based on a whole club decision lead by its management committee following the discussion of a number of important factors in the development and future of this dominant cricket club in the Adelaide Hills. LCC currently fields three senior teams in the A Grade, A2 Grade and C Grade; and four junior sides in the U16, U14, U12, and U10 competitions. The club has an abundance of young talent coming up through the ranks and will without doubt continue to be a dominant force in years to come.

Last Sunday, we got together to celebrate what has been a very successful season for Lobethal Cricket Club 👏

It was fantastic to come together and recognise all of our award winners. A well-deserved reflection of the hard work and effort shown across the year.

Thank you to everyone who came along to celebrate, and to the Lobethal Hotel for hosting a fantastic afternoon for the club.

Another great season done, and we’re already looking forward to the next one 💪

A GRADE GRAND FINAL RESULTS 🏏

Rain delayed the start, with play getting underway at 2pm in a reduced 33-over match. Langhorne Creek won the toss and chose to bat first.

Our bowlers set the tone early, taking key wickets and keeping Langhorne Creek’s top order in check. Sam Graeber then took control in an amazing spell, finishing with figures of 3/2 off 7 overs, earning Man of the Match honours. Outstanding fielding and bowling restricted them to 9/66 🙌

In reply, we made quick work of the chase. Tanner King finished unbeaten on 27, before Steve Huxter sealed the win with a six, securing our 5th premiership in a row 🏆

A great turnout to support the boys on the big stage, and a big thank you to everyone who helped get the day up and running despite the weather. It didn’t go unnoticed 🙌
