🏏 Cricket is back at Basket Range!

Pre-season indoor training kicks off Sunday 30 August 💚💛

We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone back in the nets ahead of the new season.

We’d also love to see some new faces — junior and senior players are very welcome to come along, have a hit and see what Basket Range Cricket Club is all about.

We fought hard, but alas, this year is not going to be our year.

Stirling won the toss and chose to bat and reached 9/160 in the 40 overs.

We reached 8/124 in our 40 overs.

We started well with our bowling - with Stirling 1 /1 in the second over, with Paul Koay taking the wicket lbw.

However the next wicket fell making Stirling 2/80, bowled by Hugo Geers, and then 3 / 81, bowled by Paul Koay.

Our bowlers overall - Seb Geers 2/13, Paul Koay 3/21, Max Martinson 1/33, Josh Geers 1/46, Matt Berwick 0/15 and Hugo Geers 2/25.

A good caught & bowled by Max Martinson, a caught behind by Gareth Belton and three more catches by those in the field.

Batting - Jesse Size 36, Matt Berwick 33, Max Martinson 14 & Josh Geers 10.
