We can’t thank Oakbank Hotel and Lions Club of Onkaparinga Inc. enough for your generosity and wonderful community spirit. A big thank you to Bruno Carrabs who kindly gifted us $100 too!

Monday night Community Fundraiser at the Oakey
tonight Onkaparinga Pony Club.
Raising $275 from the Hotel and $200 from Onkaparinga Lions.
This is such a great way to raise much needed funds for our local Community Groups.

What a fantastic week for Bea, Clementine, Stirling, Emily, Lucy, Ava, Scarlett, Walter, Harry and Jack at the Monarto Pony Club Camp!

Over the week they challenged themselves, built friendships, made new friends, developed their independence and created memories that will last a lifetime. From cross country, show jumping, mounted games, working equitation, trail riding and scavenger hunts, to mopping floors, skit night, games night, camping and caring for their ponies – they embraced every opportunity and did Onkas proud.

A huge thank you to the incredible volunteers who gave up their week to instruct, cook, care, comfort, tighten girths, offer pep talks and tackle the countless behind-the-scenes jobs that make camp possible. Keeping track of nearly 40 children and their ponies for an entire week is no small task, and we are so grateful for your dedication.

A very special thank you must go to Karen Charles. Quite simply, this event would not have happened without her commitment, organisation and tireless efforts. Thank you, Karen, for everything you do for our riders and Southern Zones Pony Club.

We are so proud of all our campers and grateful to everyone who helped make the week such a success.
