Adelaide Hills Hawks Football Club The Adelaide Hills Football Club. The Adelaide Hills Soccer Club – the Premier Soccer Club in the Adelaide Hills.

Woodside, South Australia.

-Senior Men in the State League 2 South.
-Junior Boys & Girls in the Youth State League.
-Amateur Men in the Collegiate Soccer League Division Div 1A, 1B & 4.
-Miniroos. The Club fields senior and junior squads under the Football Federation of South Australia. Home games are played in Woodside, at the Hawks Nest which is at the southern end of the Woodside Recreation Gr

ound. The Adelaide Hills Soccer Club was formed in 1991 by the Adelaide Hills Junior Soccer Association to enable talented soccer players to play at the highest level without having to leave the Adelaide Hills region. As the Club has grown it has embraced players from all over the State and new players are always welcome. In 1995 the club entered teams in the U/19 and U/23 competitions and in 1998 entered a senior team into the South Australian Soccer Federation (SASF) State League finishing in the top half of the table. In 2004 the seniors won promotion to the top league (then called the Premier League) and whilst it performed well, its age and inexperience meant the club was relegated at the end of the season. The experience was a valuable one with a number of younger ‘hawks’ remaining at the club and proceeding to play in the following season for the first team. In 2008 the Hawks won the Premier League and also the end of season final 5 Challenge Cup at Hindmarsh Stadium and subsequently was promoted to the Super League for the 2009 season. Despite the determination of the players, regrettably the senior team was relegated by a single goal in 2009. In 2012 the Club played under the FFSA in the State League, finishing second.

🦅 U15 Boys Match Report - Hawks vs Sturt Lions

Sunday 30th September 2026

The U15 Hawks started on the front foot, taking the lead inside two minutes through Eli, who followed up shortly after with a second to put the team up 2-0 early. Sturt pulled one back in the 9th minute to narrow the gap, but the Hawks responded quickly. In the 12th minute, Tavian converted from the penalty spot to restore the two-goal advantage. Eli scored his second of the match in the 27th minute, sending the Hawks into the break with a 4-1 lead.

Sturt hit back early in the second half, scoring in the 50th minute to make it 4-2. The Hawks continued to create chances, with Brodie coming closest after a long-range strike struck the crossbar. The side held firm through the closing stages to secure a well-earned 4-2 victory.

Final Score: Hawks 4 – 2 Sturt Lions

A solid all-around performance from the squad, with the team’s cohesion and passing structure continuing to develop well as the season nears its conclusion.

🦅 Hawks U13 Girls Match Report

Sunday 30th September 2026

It felt like spring at the Hawks Nest today, despite winter still having a few days left! ☀️

The Hawks girls put in a fantastic team performance against a strong Fulham side. Our defence was incredibly strong with a great performance from the goalie! The midfield worked hard and consistently found themselves in all the right places.

After a tight first half, Hawks found the back of the net in the 46th and 48th minutes! ⚽⚽

Fulham defended strongly and played a great game, but the Hawks held firm to finish with a 2–0 win.

A fantastic effort from the whole team and a great end to a very strong season from the girls.

Match Report U13G — Hawks 4-0 Mount Barker ⚽

Sunday 23rd August 2026

Clear skies and warm sunshine greeted the Hawks U13 Girls for their penultimate match of the season at the Mt Barker Summit.

The girls began the game just as they had finished last week, focusing on controlling possession and continuing to develop the habits that will serve them well in future seasons.

Ruby and Bella started in midfield and quickly found their rhythm, moving the ball with quick, accurate passing. Charlotte worked tirelessly at right back and combined well with Tamika on the wing as the Hawks looked to build attacks down the flank.

Up front, Sophie applied constant pressure in search of an early opportunity, but Mt Barker defended resolutely with plenty of players behind the ball. The Hawks came close from a corner kick, with the ball catching a flying boot before drifting just wide of the goal.

When Mt Barker did gain possession, they found it difficult to break through the Hawks' well-organised structure. Lilly and Pearl stopped attacks confidently at the back, showing composure on the ball and making smart passing decisions. Forced into playing longer balls, Mt Barker found Addie in excellent form, as she controlled her penalty area and comfortably dealt with any errant passes.

By halftime, neither side had managed to score, but the Hawks girls were confident after controlling much of the game and felt that more opportunities would come.

The second half began with the Hawks immediately on the attack. Amelie and Nia combined with some sharp passing before finding Morgana on the right wing. Morgana controlled the ball beautifully and drove towards the goal line, where a collision with a Mt Barker player halted play for several minutes while the injured player received assistance.

Shortly after, a desperate scramble unfolded in front of goal as Lilly struck towards the net, only for the Mt Barker goalkeeper to make a remarkable save and prevent the ball from fully crossing the line.

The save appeared to lift Mt Barker, who quickly moved the ball forward and earned a corner kick. However, the Hawks defended strongly before launching another attack. A handball from Mt Barker fell kindly to Lilly, who calmly dribbled forward and converted under the advantage rule to open the scoring.

The Hawks continued to press, and a sensational pass from Morgana released Lilly into space. Lilly made no mistake, coolly nutmegging the goalkeeper with her left foot to double the lead.

It wasn't long before Lilly completed her hat-trick. Following some excellent combination play and multiple passes with Ruby, she finished confidently into the back of the net.

Bella, who had worked tirelessly all game despite carrying a bruised knee from an earlier challenge, capped off her performance by calmly slotting home a late right-footed goal to seal a convincing 4-0 victory.

Congratulations to all the players, who continue to show great improvement in controlling possession, choosing the first option, and working hard to support one another.

Their commitment to playing as a team is evident every week and bodes well for the future.

U13G Hawks vs Sturt Lions — Match Report ⚽

Sunday 16th August 2026

First Half:
A tough, tight start with no substitutes available for the Hawks. Mya was busy early, winning a corner and combining well with the midfield, who strung together some great passing through the middle of the pitch. The wind made throw-ins tricky all half.

The breakthrough came when Mya scored, well set up by Morgana and Amelie. Mya also had a free kick chance, and the Hawks enjoyed plenty of possession in the forward third. Amelie won another corner but it was well saved by the Sturt Lions' goalkeeper.

The team continued moving the ball well between each other. Sturt Lions pushed forward and tested Addi in goals, who produced a great save in a one-on-one contest to keep the clean sheet.

Amelie's second corner of the half also came to nothing, and Mya and Morgana combined again for a promising chance that just didn't result in a goal. Half Time: Hawks 1–0.

Second Half:
Mya kept up the pressure early, rattling the crossbar with a big shot. Lilly was strong and physical in the back line, helping keep the Sturt Lions attack at bay.

The second goal was a scrappy one — Mya fired a shot in, the goalkeeper made the save but lost sight of the loose ball, and Bella pounced to clean it up into the back of the net.

Morgana then produced a great cross into the box, which deflected off a Sturt Lions defender and into the net for the third goal. A pinball-style scramble involving both teams followed late on before the final whistle.

Final Score: Hawks 3 – 0 Sturt Lions 🦅

Also, thanks to Sophie for coming out to support her team despite being unable to play!

What a way to finish the regular season for the U18s!

A last kick of the game victory over Western Strikers, who came into the game level with us on points, sealed second place in the league.

That result extends our unbeaten run to 13 games, 11 of them wins, a phenomenal effort from the boys, especially considering every player in our squad is playing up an age group.

Now it’s on to the finals with plenty of momentum and confidence behind us.

Well done, boys.
