What a night at the 2026 AWFA Awards! A fantastic evening celebrating the incredible achievements of players, teams, coaches and clubs across the league. 👏⚽️

A huge congratulations to our Melrose FC award winners and special mentions:

We’re also incredibly proud to see our Division 1 Women officially presented with their League Champion flags following their outstanding season. 💜🏆

💜 SEMI FINALS RESULTS 💜⚽️

It was a tough weekend of finals football for the Purple Army, with both of our men’s teams facing some seriously trying conditions on Saturday. Despite the challenging weather, both teams worked incredibly hard and left absolutely everything out on the pitch. 💪

We couldn’t be prouder of the effort, determination and fight shown by both teams. 💜

Then on Sunday, our Div 1 Women stepped up and delivered when it mattered, securing a 2–1 victory over Wodonga Heart and booking their place in the GRAND FINAL! 🏆💜

A massive congratulations to our women — what an incredible achievement! 🎉

To all three teams, thank you for giving it everything this weekend. We’re incredibly proud of you all. 💜

💜 QUARTER FINAL RESULTS 💜

What a day for Melrose! 💜⚽️

Not only did we have 5 teams competing in the quarter finals we also hosted a final!

A massive thank you goes out to our volunteers on making it all come together. It’s no easy feat and only made possible by our wonderful club coming together to make it happen! 💜

A huge congratulations to our Div 1 & Div 2 Men, who have both fought their way through to the Semi Finals! 👏🔥 What an effort — we can’t wait to see what you can do next!

To our U16 Boys, Div 2 Women and Div 3 Men — today’s results didn’t go your way, but you should be incredibly proud of yourselves. 💜 You’ve all put in an enormous effort throughout the season, and your determination and teamwork have been fantastic to watch.

Thank you for giving it everything today and for everything you’ve contributed to the club this season. Your season isn’t defined by one result. 👏
