Tate & Huddy kicked off their campaign representing MacKillop at the NSW Primary Softball Boys Championships today.

🥎 A solid start to day 1. With 2 wins & 2 losses

💪🏽 Tate pitched in every game & Huddy caught in every game. Our lads showing what great value they are to the team

🩵 Good luck over the next 2 days (where they still have 9 more games to play).

The 2026/27 Softball Albury Wodonga season is almost here and we’re ready to get back on the diamonds!

After a few years away, we’re thrilled to announce the RETURN OF A & B GRADE WOMEN’S COMPETITION! 🙌 An exciting development and credit to our clubs working hard behind the scenes to re-establish high standard softball 👏🏼👏🏼

Whether you’re returning for another season, making your comeback or stepping onto the diamond for the first time — we can’t wait to see you out there!

Whilst the rest of us are enjoying the offseason, Harlan Gambier is at the NSW Under 16 State Champs playing with Softball ACT Futures.

He had 4 wins from 4 games today with the last game being a comeback in the final innings 💪🏽

Last week Jonathon Sassella, Brendan Simmons & Tom Simmons represented Softball Victoria at the 2026 - Over 35’s Nationals
(Ethan Simmons also repped as bat boy)

All 3 played important roles in the team. With the boys winning their first final in an extra innings thriller. They ended up finishing third & we are so proud of them.

🐻 Tom battled through a grade 2 hamstring tear (which was done the day before the tournament)
🐻 Jono battled through neck issues. Played 3 positions including pitcher
🐻 Brendan played every minute of every game & was named in the team all tournament team

There were plenty of Bears there supporting throughout the week. Congrats lads, we are all beary proud of you 💚💛
