Over the weekend some of our older Bears were seen playing at the Softball Victoria Masters in Mooroopna.
By all reports there was plenty of fun & now plenty of sore bodies.

Well done to all & a shoutout to the lads (and bat boy) who got a medal 🥇

Chaz, Huddy & Tate headed to Sydney today to trial for the school McKillop team. All 3 lads showed great sportsmanship, energy & skill.

Congrats to Huddy & Tate who gained selection into the team. We are so proud of all 3 of you for testing yourselves on the big stage.

Bears Softball Club would like to extend our deepest sympathies to the Thorneycroft family on the passing of Mick.

One of our first ever men’s players Mick contributed to the club as a coach and umpire as well.

He was always willing to pass on his knowledge of the game and always happy to talk to anyone.

His more recent contributions to the club were as a spectator where he would come to watch family & friends with Narelle and Mahnie by his side.

May you now rest peacefully Mick 🕊️💚💛
