Congratulations to Cheryl Sternberg, who had an EAGLE on the Par 5, 9th Hole today!
Today we played our June Weekend Monthly Medal for both Ladies and Men.
Ladies Winner: Jan Sippel with an excellent score of 69 Nett
Runner Up: Barbara Panzram with a 73
Men's Winner: Derryn James with another excellent score, of 67 Nett
Runner Up: Michael Lutvey (City Golf Club) 69 on c/b from Andrew Parker, also with a 69.

Ladies played their June Midweek Monthly Medal today. Congratulations to Lorraine Emery with a wonderful score of Nett 69, closely followed by Helen Gilbert with a 70.
Rundown went to: Flo Lee 71, Trish Harris 73, Jan Sippel 73, Judy Logan 76, and Jenny Paroz 76

Today was the Final Round of our 2026 Club Championships.
Although the conditions were very tough, some good scores were recorded. In the A Grade Men's competition it came down to the last hole and the final putt to determine this year's Club Champion. Colin Potter and Todd Dennien battled it out all day, with Colin being victorious on his final putt. Congratulations to both for such close scores.
A big Thank You to Joan Kane & Roger Gray who donated trophies for our Men & Ladies daily competitions today.

Today was our 2nd Round of Club Championships with some wonderful golf.
Congratulations to Adam Cullen and to Tim Pearce who both had EAGLES today. Adam had his on the Par 5, 9th Hole and Tim had his on the Par 5, 7th Hole.
Belatedly, we also congratulate Todd Dennien who had an Eagle on the 7th hole last Saturday, which was overlooked. Sorry Todd.
Our leaders in the Men's Gross are:
Colin Potter (146), Tim Pearce (149), Todd Dennien (150) & Daniel Hauser (154)
Our leaders in the Ladies Gross: Cheryl Sternberg (165), Lail Emmerson-Smale (172), Judy Logan (181) & Linda Knopke (183).

A Big Thank you to Chris Fletcher & Marie Voorma for sponsoring Volunteers Day Fourball Multiplier for today's competition.
40 players participated followed by lunch cooked by Robin Core.
A wonderful day, even though it tried to shower a couple of times.
Winners of the Mixed Event were Andrew Parker & Jenny Paroz with a score of 72, closely followed by Chris Scheiwe & Colin Potter with 71.
The winners of the Men's Event were Paul McFie & John Stewart also with a score of 72, with runners up Robin Core & John Ward with 62.
