💙🤍 THIS ONE IS FOR OUR PLAYERS. 🤍💙

Nine teams. Four age groups. Countless training sessions, games, wins, losses, laughs, tears, high fives and “what position am I playing?” moments. 😂🏐

To every player who represented Kilmore Netball Club this season — thank you.

Thank you for turning up.
For giving things a go.
For learning.
For encouraging your teammates.
For picking each other up when things didn’t go your way.
And for celebrating each other when they did.

We’ve watched our players grow not only as netballers, but as teammates and young people.

And that’s what makes us proud.

The scoreboard will always tell part of the story, but it doesn’t tell us about the friendships made, the confidence built, the skills learnt or the courage it takes to step onto a court and give it your all.

So to our nine teams — you should be incredibly proud of yourselves. 💙

You are the reason we do what we do.

💙🤍 THAT’S A WRAP ON OUR 2026 WINTER SEASON! 🤍💙

And just like that… the whistles have gone quiet, the netballs are packed away and we can take a moment to reflect on one hell of a season at Kilmore Netball Club! 🏐

This season we proudly fielded 9 teams across Under 9, Under 11, Under 13 and Under 16 — and we couldn’t be prouder of every player who pulled on the navy and white.

For our committee, this was also our first season together. We’ve learnt A LOT, solved plenty of problems, sent far too many messages 😂 and discovered that running a netball club involves considerably more than putting players on a court!

But amongst the learning curves, there is so much to be proud of.

This season we have focused on attracting quality coaches, building strong support around our players and creating a club that is welcoming, supportive and always evolving.

And we couldn’t do any of it without our incredible community.

Over the coming days, we’re going to celebrate the people who have made our season what it was — our players, coaches, team managers, umpires, families, supporters and our hardworking committee.

Because Kilmore Netball Club isn’t just about what happens on the court. It’s about the people who make the club what it is. 💙

And once the celebrating is done… it’s time to get ready for SPRING! 👀

Our Spring Competition is shaping up to be our biggest and best yet, so if you’re thinking about playing, returning to netball or joining our club for the first time — keep watching!

💙🏐 KILMORE NAVY! WHAT A TEAM. 🏐💙

Today didn’t quite go the way we had hoped, but there is absolutely nothing for this team to hang their heads about.

They tried.
They fought.
They gave absolutely everything they had.

And while they may have finished runners up, they have shown us all season exactly what this team is made of. 💙

From the first whistle today, they played incredible netball.

🛡️ Our defence, WOW. Strong, composed and relentless. You worked so hard, applied pressure and never stopped fighting for every ball.

💙 Our midcourt, what a shift. You worked tirelessly all game, running, contesting, creating opportunities and giving everything for your teammates.

🏐 Our attackers, you never gave up. You worked hard, created opportunities and continued to fight right until that final whistle.

And that is what we will remember.

Not the final score.

We will remember the fight, the determination, the teamwork and the heart this group has shown all season.

To our girls and Keanu, you have made your families, your coaches, your club and your entire Kilmore community incredibly proud. To come from 4th on the ladder, fight your way through finals and earn a place in a Grand Final is an achievement you should be immensely proud of.

You represented Kilmore Netball Club and yourselves with pride, courage and class today. 💙

And to the incredible Kilmore community who came out, cheered, clapped and supported this team, thank you. Your voices were heard, and your support meant so much.

What an incredible day for your club, taking out the premiership in Under 11s, Under 13s and Under 16s. An amazing achievement across your junior program. Enjoy your celebrations, you’ve earned them!

You might be runners up today, but to us, you are absolute champions. 💙

Be proud. Be proud of how far you’ve come. Be proud of how you played. And most importantly, be proud of each other.

Tomorrow, Kilmore Navy steps onto the court for the biggest game of their season — taking on the undefeated Seymour for the ultimate prize!

And we want our Kilmore community there in force! 📣💙

Yes, we are the underdogs.

But being the underdog means absolutely nothing when you have heart, belief, determination and a team that refuses to give up.

This team finished 4th on the ladder. They weren’t handed a spot in this Grand Final. They earned it.

They fought their way through finals. They believed in each other. They turned up when it mattered. And now, they have given themselves the opportunity to take on the only team they haven’t yet conquered.

And that’s what makes tomorrow so exciting. 🔥

The girls and Keanu have worked incredibly hard all season. They have grown, challenged each other, celebrated each other and, most importantly, they have stuck together.

Tomorrow isn’t about where they finished on the ladder.

It’s not about being the favourites.

It’s about 60 minutes of believing that they belong there — because they absolutely do. 💙

So Kilmore… WE NEED YOU! 📣

🏐💙 CONGRATULATIONS KILMORE NAVY — A GRAND FINAL SPOT IS YOURS! 💙🏐

What. A. Game.

Today, Kilmore Navy took to the court and played an absolutely outstanding game of netball. From the first whistle until the final timer sounded, you performed incredibly.

Defeating Wandong, who are an incredibly talented team , certainly didn’t happen by chance. Every single player stepped up when it mattered most.

Defenders… WOW! You were relentless! All over the ball, creating pressure, taking intercepts and making every possession hard fought.

And in attack… our shooters did not let us down! Calm, composed and confident when it counted, you converted opportunities and kept the scoreboard ticking over. 👏

To think this team finished 4th on the ladder and have now earned themselves a place in the GRAND FINAL is something incredibly special. Never underestimate the power of hard work, belief and backing each other.

A huge thank you also to our amazing Kilmore community who came out and stood behind us today. Your support was felt, heard and appreciated. 💙

And now… one more game.

Next week, Kilmore Navy takes on the undefeated Seymour in the GRAND FINAL. We may have started this finals campaign as the underdogs, but this team has proven that anything is possible when you believe in yourselves and play for each other.

💙🤍 WHAT A SEASON, KILMORE UNDER 9s! 🤍💙

Saturday marked the end of the season for our Kilmore Under 9 teams, finishing off with a fantastic Round Robin competition and what a way to wrap things up! 🏐

As a club, we often talk about our junior players being the future of Kilmore Netball Club… and after watching these little legends this season, let’s just say our future is looking VERY bright! ✨

Our Under 9s played with so much spirit, enthusiasm and, most importantly, plenty of laughter! They have learnt new skills, made friends, supported each other and shown us exactly what junior netball should be about — having fun, giving things a go and loving being part of a team. 💙

A very special shout-out to our incredible Under 9 coaches and team managers. You have given these players such a wonderful experience this season, and we are so incredibly grateful to have you as part of our club. In fact… we’re already working on those long-term coaching contracts for you guys! 😂📝🏐 We’re not letting you go that easily!

To all of our Under 9 players congratulations! You should be so proud of yourselves. We can’t wait to watch you continue to grow, learn and hopefully wear that navy and white for many years to come.

The future of KNC is looking very bright indeed! 💙🤍
