The warm up is not optional 😂
You know when you sprint into class late, throw your bag down, skip the warm up and jump straight into lifting like your body is a Formula 1 car?
Yeah… your joints disagree 🫠
The warm up isn’t there to waste time. It’s there to:
✔️ Prime your muscles
✔️ Get blood flowing
✔️ Improve mobility
✔️ Reduce your chance of injury
We literally program it for a reason 👀
Your body needs a little “good morning” before you ask it to squat, press, jump and move properly.
Skipping the warm up because “you’ll be right” is like driving your car flat out with the handbrake on...
Moral of the story:
Please don’t treat the warm up like the movie trailers before the main event. The warm up IS part of the session 😅
