What an unbelievable day for the Mountain Devils JRLC! 💙💛

𝗨𝟭𝟯𝘀. 𝗨𝟭𝟰𝘀. 𝗨𝟭𝟱𝘀. 𝗧𝗛𝗥𝗘𝗘 𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗟𝗦. 𝗧𝗛𝗥𝗘𝗘 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗜𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗣𝗦. 🏆

We’ve proudly supported the Mountain Devils for more than a decade, and this partnership means a lot more to us than simply having the 𝗣𝗟𝗨𝗦 𝗙𝗜𝗧𝗡𝗘𝗦𝗦 𝗞𝗔𝗧𝗢𝗢𝗠𝗕𝗔 name across the front of the jersey. ⚫️🔵

The Devils are genuinely part of our gym community. So many of these players, their parents, coaches and families train with us every week, and we get to see firsthand the work that goes in away from the footy field. Some of these kids have practically grown up around our gym and our partnership with the club. 💪🏻

That makes seeing three groups of local kids standing there as 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗜𝗘𝗥𝗦 pretty special.

Community sport is a huge part of what makes the Blue Mountains what it is, and supporting the Mountain Devils has always been something we’re incredibly proud of.

We’re not just a sponsor watching from the sidelines — these are our members, our families and our local community. 💙💛

Happy Father’s Day 💙

Today I just want to take a moment, not only as the owner of Plus Fitness Katoomba, but as a first time dad.

This Father’s Day is a special one for me, because getting to hold my daughter and call myself her dad is something I’ll never take for granted.

As a gym owner, I’m surrounded by messages about strength, resilience and discipline every day — but fatherhood has shown me a different kind of strength. The quiet kind. The selfless kind. The kind that shows up, protects, teaches, and loves unconditionally.

And within our incredible gym, I get to see so many incredible fathers in our community — dads who work hard, show up for their families, lead by example, and still make time to look after their own health too. That kind of consistency, care and quiet sacrifice doesn’t go unnoticed.

Fatherhood is about so much more than being strong — it’s about being present, patient, dependable and loving. And that’s something worth celebrating.

Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing men doing their best every day. 💙

As our resident cleaner and handyman extraordinaire, 𝗚𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗵𝘂𝗴𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗹𝘂𝘀 𝗙𝗶𝘁𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗞𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗺𝗯𝗮. Behind the scenes, he does an enormous amount to keep our gym running.

Outside the gym, Gavin is also an on-call firefighter with Fire and Rescue NSW and the Event Director behind the 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗯 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗡𝗗.

This year’s climb took place on 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟴𝘁𝗵 & 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟵𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 at Scenic World, Katoomba, with firefighters and members of the community taking on the Furber Stairs to raise money for MND research.

They smashed their original $250,000 goal and were sitting at around 𝗦𝟮𝟵𝟰,𝟬𝟬𝟬 at the time of filming — incredibly close to the $300,000 mark.

Plus Fitness Katoomba is donating 𝗦𝟱𝟬𝟬, and we’d love our community to help with the final push.

$5, $10, $20 — 𝗶𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝘀. ❤️

August gave us plenty of classic Blue Mountains weather — cold mornings, frosty windscreens and more than a few days where staying rugged up at home probably sounded pretty tempting.

But as always, you guys kept showing up 🙌🏼

A massive congratulations to our most active members for August, leading the way with some seriously consistent training throughout the month 💪🏻

It was also a massive month for us here at Plus Fitness Katoomba, celebrating our 1 Year Refitaversary and everything that’s happened over the past 12 months 💙
