Ballarat brought the mud, hills and a course that tested every ounce of resilience.

Today wasn’t just about results. It was another step in the journey. Growth. Progression. Learning. Building.

Every tough race, every hard session and every challenge is preparing these athletes for bigger goals and bigger stages. 🌏

The destination is exciting, but the journey is where the magic happens.

What a day for our YoungStar On Track U18 athletes at the Australian Cross Country Championships in Ballarat! 💪🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

The course was brutal — but so were you.

When conditions got tough, you found out what you’re made of. Today wasn’t just about fitness or talent. It was about courage, resilience, determination and backing yourself when you wanted to stop.

The mud will wash off. The memories won’t.

Good time for our On Track parents to start running in our adult squad starting this Thursday 4th September.

Can’t wait to see you at the track.

Parents don’t just pass down their DNA—they pass down their lifestyle. 💪✨

A classic study by Moore et al. found that kids with two active parents were almost 6× more likely to be active than kids of inactive parents. Later, Zecevic et al. confirmed it: parental support alone makes children 6× more likely to move consistently.

👉 Translation? Your kids aren’t listening to what you say—they’re watching what you do.
If movement is normal in your household, they’ll treat it as a lifestyle, not punishment.

Breaking it down:
• Active mums = kids 2× more likely to be active
• Active dads = kids 3.5× more likely
• Both active parents = nearly 6× more likely

And it doesn’t stop in childhood. Active kids grow into active adults. That 30-min walk, gym session, or backyard game? It’s more than fitness—you’re literally setting the tone for their entire life.
