A little change is happening with my yoga 🌿
For some time I have been teaching as Lisa Lalita Yoga & North Lakes yoga but I’ve felt for a while that something was wanting to change.
I’m now moving into
Anam Cara Yoga.
I’ve recently spent some beautiful time in Scotland, the country of my heritage and ancestry. Being there, connecting with my people, the land and my own roots, has given me a deeper feeling of connection to where I come from and what has shaped me.
At the same time, I’ve been reflecting on my own journey with yoga and the ancient wisdom that I feel so connected to.. the Sanskrit, the Vedic philosophies, and the beautiful traditions that have been carried through generations.
Somehow, bringing these two parts together feels very natural to me.
Anam Cara is Gaelic for “soul friend.”
And I just love that.
Because to me, this is what yoga is.
A friend to the soul 🌿
A coming home to ourselves.
A place where the mind, body and spirit can meet. A place to slow down, breathe, listen, feel and remember who we are beneath all the busyness of life.
So the name is changing, but the yoga isn’t.
It’s still the same beautiful, traditional yoga that I love and have shared for over 20 years, a name that feels more like the heart of what yoga means to me.
Anam Cara Yoga
a friend to the soul 🤍
