It is such a shame that the Bega Valley Shire Council seems to steer away from shared pathways than any other shire...

Down along Kisees Lagoon.
Up and over Bega Street.
Out to Doctor George. Down the Doctor.
Bega Tathra Road to the Jellat Fire Shed.
Back up Kerrisons for KOM/PR effort.
Down to Boundary Road.
East Street Sprint.
Down along the river.
Back to Francos.

Here is the course, leaving at 7am from 125 Auckland Street.

Tomorrows route.

Flat country
From 125 Auckland Head down along the river.
Chuck a Carpy.
Across the bridge, out to Angledale.
Turn at Herganhans Lane.
Back across to Buckajo
Out to Spring Creek Road.
Back into Bega.
Chuck another Carpy.
Tarraganda Golf Club.
Back to Francos.

"30kmh roads? Are you crazy? That's far too slow!" are the constant criticisms when reducing the speed limit is discussed.

But yet, local councils across NSW have taken the plunge and done this very thing.

If you had a choice of making a road in your area 30kmh which one would it be? For me, it would be Carp Street.

Just a reminder, our esteemed local member, Dr Michael Holland, will be visiting Buckajo Road today at 12pm, to look at the shoulder, as well as the need for signage. If you are planning on riding tomorrow, then get out to Buckajo and show him the problem your encounter every time you ride.
