Velocity is a large club boasting 600 square meters of floor space incorporating a large group exercise studio, cardio room and resistance training area with a large array of equipment and suspension training apparatus. Our members are amazing people of all shapes, sizes, ages and back grounds and this is the essence of Velocity – a place where you can come to improve your fitness, your health and your body no matter where it is you are to start with. At Velocity we offer several services and we pride ourselves on our results based personal training. We believe that in order to create your best body it is imperative to go about it the right way which is exactly what we help you to do. Our professional services include Personal Training, body composition analysis, dietary and nutrition coaching, group exercise, injury rehabilitation, pre and post pregnancy, remedial massage and Kinesiology and Physiotherapy referrals. Winter is the perfect time to embrace nourishing whole foods that support your energy, immunity and overall wellbeing.

Nature provides exactly what we need during the colder months.

Warm up with winter seasonal produce:
* Winter greens, broccolini, bokchoy, brussel sprouts, cabbage, cauliflower
* Sweet Potato
* Pumpkin
* Carrots
* Citrus fruits
* Apples
* Pears

Simple ways to include more whole foods:
Add extra vegetables to soups and stews
Build meals around vegetables first
Keep seasonal fruit visible and ready to eat
Prepare healthy meals in batches for busy weeks

Remember, eating healthier doesn't have to be complicated. Focus on foods that come from the earth, not a packet.

As the temperature drops, it's easy to trade workouts for warm blankets and extra time indoors. But winter is often when consistency matters most.

At Velocity, we believe that every workout completed during winter is an investment in a stronger, healthier version of yourself for spring and beyond.

Following are our Winter movement tips:
1. Book in your training sessions in advance
2. Lay out your workout clothes the night before
3. Focus on consistency over perfection
4. Walk whenever you can—all movement is cumulative
5. Train with friends for accountability and connection. That is what our PT sessions help with!

Both still count.
