On Sunday our junior boys played their second match against Pambula Merimbula in the FSC District Encouragement Shield. All matches were closely contested but Pambula Merimbula came out on top and will now go forward to the district final against the winner of Moruya and Catalina.
Congratulations to the P/M boys. We wish them the best of luck for their future matches.

Played the 8th green for the final time in its current lifetime. Work starts next week on a new 8th green and an interim green to allow for a large cart shed and some other works necessary for the new club. Best of luck to Mark Puglisi and his crew in continuing their awesome work and delivering a whole new green. Great challenge im sure they will meet.

While I'm at it, congratulations and good luck to Harry Peterson. Hazza is one step closer to playing in the US OPEN after beating a mob of Americans to come first in a qualifying event in Hawaii. Some of those contenders were PGA players themselves! Its an awesome effort in itself! The club wishes him all the best and we look forward to your every success. Great stuff!

Robbo has kindly put together the final results for our 4 day Club Championships. Well done to all the winners, all those who came close, and all those lamenting what could have been... There's always next week, or next year....

Our 4 day club championships are now complete! Marked by beautiful autumn days on a stunning golf course, the championships ended as follows..
A grade and club champion. Mitch Bucholtz
B grade winner Liam Kelly
C grade winner William Will Wheatley
Junior winner Toby Peterson.

CONGRATULATIONS to those blokes and the final 4 in each grade who battled it out.
Also a big congratulations to the fellows who got 15s, and 11s, and 9s, and who just kept battling along. You dont have a comp without a field of people out there having a go. Well done all!
Well done also to Robbo, to the bar staff, and to Mark Puglisi and his ground staff for presenting a sensational golf course, the hidden gem of the south coast!
