It's June! Get excited. Nepean have even rescheduled the football games to make sure everyone is finished by 1:30 so we can all enjoy the Australia v Türkiye game on Sunday 14th June at 2pm.

The sun is finally shining and have dried up most of the fields both Gloria Park and Lawson Oval are open.

The cricket pitch end at Gloria Park that gets alot of shade is still a bit wet please avoid this area. Also be mindful the grass is quite long.

A tongue-in-cheek recap of the past two weeks!

Over the past two weeks, many, if not all of the grounds have been closed at some point. Well done to the lucky few teams that have been able to play games over the past two weekends, and thank you for your patience with all the last minute movements to open grounds - often quite far away! We won't try to jinx anything, but hopefully you can all start sending in your photos again next week ☀️

Unfortunately with the rainfall over night on two already wet fields BMCC have made the decision to keep both Gloria Park and Lawson Oval closed for the weekend with next inspection Monday 1st June. Keep an eye on Dribl for any game changes or washouts.

Both Gloria Park and Lawson Oval remain closed and will be reinspected tomorrow 29th May.

BMCC have made the decision to keep both Gloria Park and Lawson Oval closed with next inspection Wednesday 27th May.

There is a newly released 2026 NFA Miniroos (U5-U12s) Game Leader Handbook that came into play as of last weekend.
This is a comprehensive guide to better understand the rules, keep the game flowing and ensure the players having a great experience on the field.
This guide is not only for game leaders, but coaches, managers, parents, players anyone watching a game really. If you could circulate this with your teams, I think it would be of great benefit for many.

Our Association has completed a full review of the Football NSW 2026 Game Leader Handbook and we believe the updated guidelines strongly support the non‑competition ethos for players aged 8–12 years 🙌

👀Updates come into effect from📆 Saturday, 16 May 2026.

🔄 What’s changing?📄 All changes are outlined on page 2 of the 2026 Game Leader Handbook.

The 2026 updates apply to the 8–12 age groups and include (but are not limited to):
♦Consolidation of retreat and exclusion zones across all 8–12 age groups
♦Clarification of goalkeeper open play 🧤
♦ Updates to free kick procedures ⚖️

Field Status Update - Gloria Park and Lawson are closed for the weekend and will be inspected on Monday 25th May. Keep an eye on Dribl for any game changes and washouts.

Council have left opening Gloria Park to the clubs discretion, the fields team have been down there today and would like another day for it to recover. The decision has been made to keep it closed for training Thursday 22nd and Friday 23rd so it can be game day ready. Thanks for your understanding.
