IN LOVING MEMORY // It is with great sadness that our golfing community bids farewell to much-loved member and friend, Cam Woodside, who passed away peacefully on 21st May 2026.

Veterans Captain and master of all things mechanical, Cam was a respected and familiar face around the club. His presence, particularly among the group affectionately known as the "Corner of Knowledge" - who recently raised a beer in his honour - will be deeply missed.

He leaves behind a legacy of friendship, humour and camaraderie. Our heartfelt condolences and love go out to his family.

Celebration of Life:

AN IMPORTANT REQUEST // ...from the team at Griffith Golf Club. Please DO NOT cause damage to our greens. We completely understand that frustration can get the better of us at the best of times out there, but the damage seen over the long weekend is simply unacceptable.

Our dedicated greenkeeping team and volunteer veterans put in a tremendous amount of work, hours and care behind-the-scenes every day to ensure our greens are pristine and rolling beautifully for everyone to enjoy. Please don’t do this.

PLEASE:
- Repair divots on the course and pitch marks on greens
- DO NOT leave divots on greens
- Play with care.

Thank you for your understanding and for helping us keep the course playable and enjoyable for all.

WOMEN’S GOLF AT ITS BEST // …at the Griffith City Women’s Open 2026 hosted at the club last week! With 46 players taking to the course, including 21 visitors, the club was buzzing with energy as golfers enjoyed beautiful weather, great company, and a delicious spread put on by our wonderful ladies.
