HAPPY FATHER'S DAY // Some of life's greatest lessons aren't learned in a classroom - they're learned while fishing, watching the footie, or walking the fairways alongside Dad. From teaching us how to grip a club, repair a divot and shake hands after a round, to showing us the value of patience, respect and perseverance, fathers and father figures have played an important role both on and off the course.

Today, we celebrate the dads, grandads, mentors and golfing mates who have shared their time, wisdom and love, creating memories that last far longer than any scorecard. Whether you're teeing it up together, sharing stories in the clubhouse, or remembering a father who introduced you to this great game, we hope your day is filled with special moments and treasured memories.

Here's to the dads who taught us that it's not about the perfect shot, but about the people you share the journey with.

SWING FOR A CAUSE AT THE COUNTRY HOPE GRIFFITH CHARITY GOLF DAY // Join us on Sunday, 27th September 2026 for a fantastic day of golf, community and fundraising at Griffith Golf Club, all in support of Country Hope, an incredible organisation providing support to children diagnosed with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses, along with their families throughout regional NSW.
 
Whether you’re playing for a prize, a personal best or simply to support a worthy cause, every swing helps make a difference - a fun and welcoming atmosphere for golfers of all ages and abilities! This is more than just a round of golf. It’s an opportunity to come together as a community and help Country Hope continue its vital work supporting local families when they need it most.

BEFORE THE RANGE PICKER... THERE WAS THIS // Sourced from Getty Images for a glimpse into the past, and in celebration of our 100 year centenary, this GENIUS piece of engineering was once considered the pinnacle of golf course worker safety! 😎
 
Back in the day, when collecting range balls was a far more adventurous occupation, staff would brave the onslaught by donning this state-of-the-art “armour” before venturing onto the driving range. Protection levels were reportedly “questionable”, but confidence levels were through the roof! 🤣
 
Thankfully, technology has moved on where our grounds team and volunteers no longer need to suit up like medieval knights before retrieving golf balls from the range - would however give GOOD money to see this in action though lol.
 
This is next level. Thoughts?
