These jerseys were a special gift from O’Neills Sportswear Australia⁠ in support of Mates Rates. They were designed in honour of one of our club family members who sadly passed away at the beginning of this year.

The post-game jersey auction was also a huge success. A special thank you to Toby Elliot for coming down and running the auction so professionally, helping make the afternoon such a memorable occasion. Thank you as well to everyone who purchased a jersey last night. Your generosity and support are greatly appreciated.

A special thank you to Juan from Aligned Chiro!

We’re incredibly grateful to have Juan on hand to support our players with any injuries, niggles or concerns throughout the season. Whether it’s at training or on game day every Saturday, Juan is always there to help keep our players performing at their best.

His knowledge, professionalism and willingness to give up his time for the club are greatly appreciated by everyone involved. We are very fortunate to have someone of his calibre supporting the Dirty Reds and we’re thankful for the care and expertise he provides to our players week in, week out.

With Mates Rates Day this weekend and June being Men’s Mental Health Month, it’s a great time to highlight the importance of men’s mental health.

For too long, the “man up” stigma has made many men feel like they have to carry their struggles alone, that asking for help is a sign of weakness, or that they should just push through. The truth is, that couldn’t be further from reality.

It’s okay to not be okay. Strength isn’t about suffering in silence; it’s about having the courage to speak up when you’re struggling.

Start the conversation with your mates. A simple “How are you really doing?” can make a bigger difference than you realise. Check in on your teammates, your friends, your family members, both on and off the field.

Remember, you are needed, valued and loved. You don’t have to carry the weight alone. Whether it’s a mate, a family member, or a professional, there is always someone willing to listen.

No one wants to be impacted by su***de. By looking out for each other and having honest conversations, we can help make sure nobody faces their battles alone.

Be kind. Check in. Speak up. We’re all on the same team.

Today we’re shining the spotlight on our MAJOR sponsor, the Hibernian Hotel.

The Hibo has supported us in countless ways over the years and we’re incredibly grateful for everything they do for the Goulburn Rugby Club. Without them our club would not be what it is today! Whether it’s after a hard-fought game or a catch-up with mates during the week, the Hibo is the favourite meeting place for our players, supporters and club members.

A big Saturday ahead for our club as we celebrate Sponsors & Mates Rates Day!

We’ve got three massive games on Poidevin Oval against the Vikings, with plenty of tough competition expected across all grades. It should be a great day of rugby and some nail-biting contests from start to finish.

There will also be a raffle running throughout the day, with tickets available for purchase at the clubhouse. After the games, make sure you stick around for our Mates Rates Jersey Auction, where we’ll be auctioning off our one-of-a-kind custom jerseys, specially designed for the day thanks to O’Neills Sportswear.
