On Grand Final weekend the association awards were done and we’d like to congratulate Matt Overall on winning the GSCA cricketer of the year for consecutive years and for a third time.

Only a handful of people have won it 3 times so Matt now joins some elite company. We’re extremely proud of his achievement, what a weekend it was for him.

Keep an eye out for a wrap of all the winners at our recent club presentations.

Big congratulations to our 2 new Life members Fred Nissen and Josh Jones announced at our presentation night last Thursday. Fantastic clubmen and outstanding service given to our club . Fred has played 17 senior seasons, Josh 21 and both have played 225 games.

Fred is also a life member of the Goolwa Port Elliot Football club.

Reminder we have our senior cricket presentations tomorrow night, and one worth coming along to celebrate us making history. We hope to see you all there!!!

Cricket season is coming to an end and with that we’d like to invite you all to our senior presentations on Thursday the 2nd of April.

Thank you to the many supporters from both Clubs that attended the Grand Final over the weekend and to the EBCC for hosting; the hospitality (including drinks breaks) and presentation of the venue and field was exceptional.
