Goolwa Regatta Yacht Club Inc The Club is located in the historic river-port of Goolwa, near the mouth of the River Murray Power and water are connected, and berths may be leased or rented.

The GRYC
The Club's marina accommodates 106 boats up to 12 metres in length. If you wish to keep your vessel anywhere in the Goolwa channel then the GRYC is very competitively priced. An excellent boat ramp allows the launching or retrieving of two vessels simultaneously in almost all weather. The majority of vessels on the Club's register are trailer-sailers or other lifting-keel yachts which are

well suited to the relatively shallow waters of the adjacent Lower Murray Lakes and Coorong areas. However an increasing number of power boats are kept in the GRYC marina as well.

GRYC and Goolwa Vintage Boat Club share a common and fascinating pre-history. Our history pages are now online including the continuing transcription of Frank Bedford's 1957 journal. Frank and Chippy Barclay committed to recording details of every sailing boat on the lower Murray, and most of the motor launches of the era. A copy was passed on to sailing elder Geoff Byrnes and we're in the process of digitising Frank's records and Geoff's annotations. Members went Troppo at last night's Annual Dinner and Presentations, with prizes presented by sponsors Bleasdale Vineyards and Shaw Family Vintners Cellar Door. Brian Partridge 's novelty trophies were a hit at his penultimate official gig as Commodore, and the meals at South Lakes Golf Club were delish!
