Before you blame the products… look at the whole picture.
If your skin is breaking out, it doesn’t automatically mean your skincare is the problem.
Your diet, stress, sleep, hormones, pillowcase, makeup brushes, touching your face and constantly changing products can all be part of the picture too.
And then there’s consistency.
If you’re changing products every few days because you haven’t seen a difference yet, your skin never gets the chance to settle. Good skincare isn’t always about seeing overnight results, sometimes it’s about giving your routine time and being consistent enough to actually assess it.
But we also believe in being honest: sometimes a product genuinely isn’t right for your skin.
🚩 Signs your skincare may truly not be working for you:
• Your skin is becoming increasingly dry, tight, itchy or uncomfortable
• You’re experiencing persistent burning or stinging
• Redness and irritation are getting progressively worse
• You’re developing a rash or widespread inflammation
• Your skin continues to deteriorate rather than gradually settle
A few breakouts alone don’t automatically mean the product caused them.
Look at the timing. Look at the pattern. Look at what else has changed.
And most importantly, don’t keep throwing products at your skin every time you have a breakout.
