Every Wednesday, she shows up.
She’s navigating cancer, a knee replacement on the horizon, and a mind that — understandably — rarely stops.
She told me that my meditation and sound bath is the one time she feels like she can relax.
That she feels good in her body.
That she sleeps better on Wednesday nights than any other night of the week.
I don’t share this to tell you how great I am at running a session.
I share it because this is why these practices exist 🫶🏼
We all have something pulling at us. Something that keeps the mind busy and the body tense.
Meditation and sound bath is one of the most powerful ways I know to come back to yourself — even just for an hour.
Every week I’m at a beautiful 55+ lifestyle community here in Geelong, offering Pilates, Yoga, Meditation, and Sound Bath to their residents in the clubhouse.
It is one of my favourite things I do all week.
And I’m so grateful she keeps showing up.
