Another fantastic night at Flinders Golf Club for our Taste of New Orleans evening! 🎷⚜️

A huge thank you to Head Chef Brian, Chef Luke and Retek for putting together a wonderful New Orleans-inspired feast, and to Jules Boult and the Redeemers for providing the perfect soundtrack to a great night. 🎶

Just as important, thank you to all our members and guests for your fantastic support. Great food, great music and great company made it a night to remember.

Congratulations to Graham Cook, who recorded a fantastic hole in one on the 17th hole on Saturday 15 August.

The 17th, a challenging Par 3 and certainly no easy place to make a one.

**THIS WEEK’S TAKE-HOME MEALS**

Make dinner easy with our latest selection of take-home meals from Flinders Golf Club.

Prepared by our chefs using carefully selected, quality ingredients, our meals are delicious, nutritious and ready to enjoy at home.

**This week’s selection includes:**

* Chicken and vegetable pie
* Individual croque madame pie – 450g
* Slow-braised beef cheek with pomme purée – one serving
Beef cheek slow-cooked in red wine with a mirepoix of vegetables, finished with a reduction of the braising liquor and served with rich, buttery pomme purée.
* Family lasagne – approximately 2kg, serving 4–6 people
* Vegetarian lasagne – serving 4–6 people
*Steak pack - 2 x 300g Angus MB3+ Scotch fillets, served with salad, dressing, mustard and pepper sauce.

Orders open Monday at 10am and close Wednesday at 5pm. Pick up is Friday from 2pm to 5pm.

Congratulations to Sophie Derbyshire on winning the August Monthly Medal!

Sophie played a wonderful round of nett 71 in very trying conditions, edging out Sam Rowe by just one shot and continuing the Derbyshire family’s proud golfing tradition at Flinders.

Here she is receiving her medal with the unmistakable smile of a first-time winner. Well done, Sophie—the first of many!
