Over the weekend, some of our amazing volunteers rolled up their sleeves and tackled the not-so-glamorous job of cleaning out our sports sheds and completing a stocktake! 💪🧹

A massive THANK YOU to Graham, Ros, Michaela and Peter for giving up their time to sort, clean, organise and get everything back in order.

It’s jobs like these that often happen behind the scenes, but they make a huge difference to our club. 🏉🚂

HAPPY FATHER’S DAY FROM THE RATTLERS!

Today we celebrate all the amazing dads, stepdads, grandads, father figures and footy dads in our Rattlers family. 🏉

From driving to training and cheering from the sidelines, to volunteering, coaching and always being there with words of encouragement - thank you for everything you do.

We hope all the dads and father figures across our Rattlers community have a fantastic Father’s Day surrounded by the people who mean the most.

Did you know Australian Football was originally developed as a way to help cricketers stay fit during winter? 🤯

The first recorded match was played between Scotch College and Melbourne Grammar in 1858, and the first written rules followed in 1859.

From keeping cricketers active in the off-season to the game we all love today - footy has come a LONG way!

The Brisbane Valley Rattlers AFC are now taking Expressions of Interest for our 2027 Junior & Youth teams!

Whether your child has played footy before or is completely new to AFL, we’d love to welcome them to the Rattlers family.
