We were fortunate enough to get a visit from Shihan Hoffman in our classes last night 🙏🥋

We took the Junior students thru their paces with an impromptu Examination, while the Senior class was treated to some advanced striking and take-downs. We are truly blessed to have Shihan so close up in Benalla, and attending our weekly classes on top of running his monthly Seminars. It’s hard to believe he turned 80 a couple weeks ago!

Congratulations to all our Junior students, who were outstanding in their Examinations. We lifted the intensity to test you, but you all rose to the occasion, showing focus, concentration and a solid understanding of the foundational movements. We look forward to seeing more of this in Term 3 and beyond. Well done to Chayse, who took the warm up at the start of class and is becoming a real leader in our Club.

Congratulations also for Michael, who was awarded his 1st Kyu (Brown/ Black belt) by Shihan Hoffman in preparation for our Shodan/ Nidan Exam at the end of October 🥋

Congratulations to our Tournament Team for their outstanding effort and performance at the North East Martial Arts Championships Albury Wodonga Championship on the weekend!

We got reports back from Sensei Justin that you were focused, disciplined and respectful. Worth much more than gold, silver & bronze.
