🥋 IT’S FINALLY HERE! 🥋

Introducing South Australia’s first OT-led Martial Arts Program!

After years of dreaming, planning and working behind the scenes, we are incredibly proud to finally bring this vision to life.

Expressions of Interest are NOW OPEN for our very first OT-led Martial Arts Program!

We’ve combined two powerful things — Occupational Therapy + Martial Arts — to create a program that promotes inclusivity, self-defence, confidence, regulation and wellbeing through structured movement.

This isn’t just about learning martial arts.

It’s about building the skills that help people feel grounded, confident, capable and connected — in a supportive and inclusive environment.

✨ Our programs include:

🥋 Regulation & Resilience – Adults
Supporting emotional regulation, resilience, confidence and functional participation through movement and martial arts.

🥋 Regulation & Resilience – Children
A structured and supportive environment to develop regulation, coordination, confidence, social participation and self-awareness.

🥋 Grounded & Strong – Women
Combining martial arts, self-defence, confidence and wellbeing to help women feel strong, capable and empowered.

We are so excited to open the doors to something that has been years in the making — and even more excited to share it with our community.

💫 Enrolments will be opening soon!
📩 Expressions of interest are now open.

🥋 Something exciting has been in the works…

Two worlds.
Two areas of expertise.
One shared vision.

We’re incredibly excited to announce a new collaboration between Makoto Ryu Karate-Do Association and Nurture and Wellness Occupational Therapy.

Bringing together martial arts and Occupational Therapy, we’ve been working behind the scenes on something we believe can make a real difference.

✨ Built for skill-building. Designed through an OT lens.

This is only the beginning…

More to come. 👀🥋
