Sukoshi Tatakai Martial Arts Academy Sukoshi Tatakai Martial Arts classes are specifically designed for children, offering a fun, friendly & safe environment to learn martial arts & self defence.

Sukoshi aims to teach children self-awareness, self discipline, self-respect & respect for others including their family, their peers and their teachers. Tatakai now also offers Toddler classes which are specially designed for preschoolers as a pre-entry to more formal martial arts classes teaching personal safety whilst improving coordination and motor skills

How much does it cost? Tatakai Toddlers (3 - 5yrs): $70 per term (1 class p/week)

Sukoshi Tatakai (6 - 15yrs):
1 lesson p/week: $100 per term
2 lessons p/week: $175 per term
Casual: $25 term fee plus $12 per lesson

Discounts also available for families with more than one child attending Tatakai classes. The Children's division of Tatakai Martial Arts Academy is run by 4th Dan Black Belt Instructor, Shianne Coole who has over 17yrs experience. Term 3 starts today!

Remember all children's classes now start at 5.15pm ..
Juniors finish at 6.15pm and Intermediates finish at 6.45pm

Announcing our new class times for Term3!

Mondays & Thursdays
5-9yr olds - 5.15 - 6.15pm
9-14yr olds - 5.15 - 6.15pm
13yrs & over - 7 - 8.30pm (No change)

You will notice our two children's classes will now be mixing together for their lessons which brings amazing opportunities for both age divisions, but will sometimes still be separated into their groups, should the activity require it.

Term 3 starts Monday 24th July & Thursday 27th July.

We look forward to seeing the benefits these changes bring, see you there!

Reminder that today's Junior class will be at 5.30pm ..combining with the Intermediate class and incorporating the grading.
All students are encouraged to attend even if they are not grading.. there will be a lesson first, then grading.. if time permits, we'll go back to the lesson and have a bit of fun! 😀

Tatakai is reintroducing our Toddler class!.. a weekly pre-entry class aimed at 3-5yr olds based on personal safety using songs and games.

The kids are back and it's our FREE Come and Try day so everyone and anyone is encouraged to come along.. limited places, especially in the Junior class so best to call or msg ahead but walk-ins are welcome in Intermediate and Senior classes 😀🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️🥋👊🦂😀
