Cloverash horse floats is very sad to advise as of June 30 2024 we will be closing our doors permanently.
We have enjoyed our time servicing the horse community in SA and all across Australia.
We are now concentrating on our other business.
We thanks all our wonderful loyal clients and wish you all well with your horsing & floating pursuits

Let’s talk safety chains……are your safety chains ADR compliant 🤷‍♀️

Two very important points to know

1. Drawbar safety chain attachment points should not come into contact with the road surface when the trailer is disconnected

2. All chains must stamped with the relevant Australian standard number to identify the rating of the chain

Please see below the link for the full Australian design rules
The photos attached show the chains incorrectly attached to the A frame and damage the causes to the chains

This is an important service and safety point that we check every time a float or trailer comes to us.
Without the regulation chains it can be dangerous and if you do have an accident your insurance company may refuse to pay out.
