The Steph Curry and Albert Einstein of the GSFL, Denmark Walpole FC player-coach James Charlesworth, receives the Sean Plaisted leading goalscorer award from Railways Football & Sporting Club Albany president Wayne Stubber. He won it by a mere 40 goals haha such was his dominance. Legend!

Well, that’s a wrap on a fantastic 2026 season for our Denmark Walpole League side.
Today didn’t go our way, going down to Royals 68–59 in a hard-fought Elimination Final.
But what a season it has been! So much commitment, determination and heart from this group, right through to the final siren. 👏
A massive thank you to our players, coaches, volunteers, supporters and everyone behind the scenes who helped make this season such a memorable one.
You gave us plenty to cheer about and plenty to be proud of. 🖤🤍
