Get your entries in for this year's Sunraysia Safari. At this stage none of the previous winners in the Moto Division have entered, so we're set to have a new champion. Could it be you?

And don't forget, the brand-new Moto "Two-Up" Division is available this year, so if you have a bike but no budget, find a mate and get onto it! Sharing the riding over the 4 days of competition is the best way to experience the adventure of the Sunraysia Safari if you're not quite match fit or have the full budget. We've been held up for a couple of days from getting out to meet with some of our farmers, due to some Shire roads being closed from recent rain. Luckily it hasn't been this much rain!!

LESS THAN 4 MONTHS TO GO!

It sounds like a long time away, but the 2026 Sunraysia Safari will be here before you know it! A few competitors have been dragging their feet getting their entries sorted; time to get it done! Log onto www.sunraysiasafari.com.au and click on the "Enter Now" link and get it sorted. For those who nominated (and paid the nomination fee) don't forget to use the discount code that was emailed to you. If you have any queries, please contact us at [email protected]

Times are certainly a bit tight for most of us at the moment, but don't just say you'll enter next year; there may not be one if we don't get enough competitors this year! We'll keep running as long as people want us to, and we'd like to expand the number of events we run in the coming year, so get your entries in, and get on board!

We're also finalising sponsorships at the moment, so if you'd like to get the benefits from supporting the event, get in touch. Sponsors are what enables us to keep entries fees as low as possible.

We can't do it without you, so don't let us down!

The Rally Regularity Division of the 2026 Sunraysia Safari is generating a lot of interest; competitors are very keen to experience the challenge and adventure of a proper Outback "Marathon" style Rally. Road cars and 4x4s are eligible to enter, as well as more "purpose built" Rally cars. Older Rally cars (such as Round Australia or early Wynn's Safari vehicles) that are no longer compliant with current regulations are also able to enter!

The challenge of competing to a target time, whilst also having to navigate around the course as well, will surely be the ultimate adventure. And no, the course is not too rough or difficult; for some drivers perhaps, but certainly not for the cars! Events like Rally of the Heartland are tougher on the machinery than the Sunraysia Safari, and a lot more punishing on the tyres!

4 days competition, with around 1200kms competitive, with an entry fee of $3000 (for the Rally Regularity Division). Based in one central location (Wentworth). What's not to like!

PAYPAL NOW AVAILABLE!

Great news for competitors: PayPal is now available for entries in the 2026 Sunraysia Safari. We're trying to make it as simple and convenient to enter as we can, so now you have the choice to pay your entry fee through Direct Transfer, or via PayPal. This allows you to access the "Pay in 4" option (if eligible) so you can split your total payment across 4, and if your Credit Card is linked to your PayPal account, that gives you even more options!

And you'll get the opportunity to use this facility shortly: we're closing nominations tomorrow and will open priority entry for those who nominated (and paid the nomination fee). Entry for everyone else will open in a couple of days. It's not too late to nominate and get a guaranteed place in this year's event, but you'll need to do it tonight! After that, the remaining entry places will be accepted in order of receipt, until we're full.

So, if you want to guarantee your place, get in now, or you'' have to be first in when entries open later this week. Log onto our website (www.sunraysiasafari.com.au) now and look at the "Events" section for all of the info.
