The SKAA is pleased to announce that nominations are now open for the SKAA Speedway Karting Awards for 2025/26 season.
NOMINATIONS CLOSE 30TH JUNE 2026

COMPETITOR OF THE YEAR

These awards are to recognise outstanding drivers who have excelled both on and off the track competing in SKAA divisions.
Awards will be presented for Sub Junior, Junior, Junior Standard, Standard Light, Standard Medium, Standard Heavy, Modified and 125cc NON Gear Box Classes.
Competitor Awards will be awarded to a licensed SKAA competitor who has excelled during the 2025/26 season. Criteria includes on track success, team participation, Kart/Team presentation, promotions, commitment to their chosen division and interaction with fans and sponsors.

Volunteer of the Year Award will be awarded to a worthy recipient who has been an outstanding club member/ volunteer and has contributed to the running of SKAA Karts and events during the 2025/26 season. The volunteer can be anyone who is seen as an outstanding contributor to the sport at any level.

These awards are organised and selected by the SKAA and are separate from the Speedway Australia Awards.

Big shoutout to all our *VOLUNTEERS* out at our practise day! … sign on, scrutineers, track crew, drivers rep, first aid, cooking the sausage sizzle, grid marshal, flaggie, chief steward and assistant… and lots more! We couldn’t do it without you!

If you are able to help us out on Sunday 21st June or Saturday 27th June- please get in touch! Even if you have no prior experience- We love meeting new people! Every little bit counts! 👏 🧡

Check out our *new* Aidka track! All new surface and it is absolutely spot on 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 not enough ways to say thank you to all the people and businesses involved in this amazing upgrade! 👏 🙌 ask anyone that attended our practise day yesterday, the track was unreal!
