⛳ CGC June Monthly Medal Winner ⛳
Congratulations to Iraia Thompson, who claimed the June Monthly Medal with a great Nett 68 to win on a countback from Nick Welsh.
Iraia now joins Adrian Murray, Kevin Young, Michael Palmer, Troy Tickner, and Charlie Grist as finalists in the 2026 Medal of Medalists playoff, to be held in December.

We're now at the halfway mark of the year, with only six more opportunities remaining to qualify. The next Monthly Medal is up for grabs on 4th July. Will you be the next player to qualify for the 2026 Medal of Medalists playoff ?

👀New improved MiScore2....

We've just released a new update to the MiScore App, focused on improving readability and the overall scoring experience.

Based on user feedback, this latest release includes:

📱 Increased font sizes throughout the scoring screen for improved visibility on the course

⛳ Refreshed scoring screen styling with a cleaner, more modern layout

👀 Enhanced readability to make entering and reviewing scores easier during play

While the changes may seem subtle, they're designed to make a noticeable difference when you're out on the course and need quick, clear access to your scoring information.

Most users will receive the update automatically. If you're not seeing the latest changes, visit the App Store or Google Play and update to the latest version of MiScore 2.

🚫COURSE CLOSED TODAY🚫 - Friday 5th June 2026
Due to the significant rainfall received over the past 72 hours, the course will be closed today.

Our Greens Team will be busy preparing the course to ensure it is in the best possible condition for golfers to enjoy Saturday's Monthly Medal competition.⛳

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. We look forward to welcoming everyone back to the course soon.

Congratulations to Colac Golf Club member Ros Brauer, who recently competed in this year's Victorian Amateur Par 3 Championships, hosted at Victoria's First Par 3 golf course, Kyabram Parkland Golf Club.

Ros produced an excellent performance to finish tied 7th overall in a strong field and 4th in Senior Scratch division. The event was won by 14-year-old Vivian Zhaik, who set a new course record in the opening round – wow!

Reflecting on the event, Ros said, "It was harder than I thought it was going to be, but I was pleasantly surprised with my results."

Well done, Ros, on representing Colac Golf Club and achieving a fabulous result! ⛳
