Experience not necessary, working with children check required.

Registration closes on 28 August, with teams to be released by 18 September.

Season Starts on 6 October and runs for 10 weeks before having a break over Christmas, and resuming on 2 February and finishing on 5 March. Total season length is 15 weeks.
There are 2 weeks of finals for grades U12 and above.

Juniors $202.50 plus Basketball Victoria Fees (paid once a year)
Seniors $217.50 plus Basketball Victoria Fees (paid once a year)

PROPOSED SCHEDULE (subject to change based on registrations)
Tuesday: U12 Boys (2016 & 2017), U16 Girls (2012 & 2013), A Grade Men and Social Men
Wednesday: U14 Boys and Girls (2014 & 2015), U18 Girls (2010 & 2011) and A Grade Women
Thursday: U12 Girls (2016 & 2017), U16 Boys (2012 & 2013), U18 Boys (2010 & 2011) and Social Women
Friday: U10 Boys and Girls (2018 & 2019)

Late registrations will be considered but not guaranteed a playing position, so please ensure you register on time.

If you aren't playing finals, please return your playing singlets to your coach or leave in the 'Singlet Tub' inside the stadium.

Ford Aussie Hoops is back in Colac in Term 3 2026!
Starting Tuesday 28 July 2026.

Aussie Hoops provides an exciting opportunity for young ballers aged 6-10 years old to get involved, make new friends and start their basketball journey.
Whether your little one is a seasoned basketball fan or simply looking to get out there and give it go, we have no doubt they’ll have an absolute ball when you register them in our junior development program.

Open for children born from 2016 to 2020.

Sessions will be run on Tuesday afternoons, 4.30 - 5.30pm.

First session date: 28 July 2026
Last session date: 15 September 2026

All participants must be registered prior to taking the court.

The wait is over! Registrations are now open for players wishing to trial for the Colac Kookas Junior Representative Program for the 2026/27 season.

U14 boys – Sun 12 July 2pm-3pm, Sun 19 July 12.30pm-1.30pm, Tues 21 July 5.15pm-6.15pm

U16 boys – Sun 12 July 12.30pm-1.30pm, Sun 19 July 2pm-3pm, Tues 21 July 6.30pm-7.30pm

- No Kookas or State representative uniforms allowed

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled tryout session.

To ensure a smooth tryout process, parents and guardians will not be permitted inside the stadium during tryouts.
