Colac Kookas Junior Basketball RepReady Sessions - 2026

Great performances don’t happen by chance — they’re built through preparation.

The Colac Kookas Junior RepReady Basketball Sessions are designed to give every athlete an opportunity to put in some work before Colac Kookas Junior Representative tryouts begin.

Sessions will include both parent information and on-court training sessions.

Whether you’re stepping into representative basketball for the first time or preparing for another season, these sessions are designed to help athletes feel prepared, confident, and ready to compete.

As part of the Colac Kookas Junior Representative pathway, sessions will focus on skill development, game-ready drills, and high-energy coaching to help players sharpen their game before tryouts. Athletes will build confidence, improve their basketball IQ, and give themselves the best chance to perform at their best when it matters most. Don’t miss the opportunity to put in the work now and stand out later.

This program is suited to domestic U12, U14, U16 and U18 players who haven’t previously been part of the representative program and are interested in trying out for rep basketball this season.

Are you coaching this winter season?
If so, please register as a coach against your team.

Playing tops will be provided. Players must wear their own black shorts with no pockets. Parents/care givers will be expected to assist with scoring.

Register your interest to play in the Colac Basketball 2026 Winter competition.

There is no cost to register your interest to play.

Details for the 2026 Winter competition are as follows:
- All games to be held on Wednesday nights.
- The competition will begin on Wednesday 20th May.
- 6 rounds in Term 2, break for July school holidays, and a further 4 weeks of play plus a Grand Final, concluding on Wednesday 12th August.
- Minimum age for juniors - athletes born in 2018 or earlier.
- Cost will be $125 for the season + Basketball Victoria Licence Fee if required.

Registration of interest required by 2nd May 2026.
Teams will be announced on 9th May 2026.

All players will then need to register to their team, which will include payment due by 20th May 2026, before they take the court.

Colac Basketball Association - 2025/26 Grand Final Week.

Good luck to all teams playing in Grand Finals of the 2025/26 Colac Basketball Association Summer Domestic Season.

We would like to thank all players, parents, coaches, court supervisors and referees for supporting a fantastic season of basketball.

This week is the final round of the domestic Summer competition.
If you aren't playing finals, please return your playing singlets to your coach or leave in the 'Singlet Tub' inside the stadium.

This week is the last round before finals. If you or your child, won’t be playing finals, please bring a spare top to the game and at the end please leave your playing singlet in the tub at Bluewater, near court one.
