REMINDER CHELSEA SPORTS CLUB AGM

The Chelsea Sports Club AGM will be held on Friday 20th SEPTEMBER at 6-30 pm.

Chelsea Sports Club - Annual General Meeting.
Date: Friday 20th September
Time: 6-30 pm
Venue: Tom Williams Social Room.

The ordinary business of the Annual General Meeting is as follows:
1/ to confirm the minutes of the previous Annual General Meeting;
2/ to receive and consider-
(i) the annual report of the Committee on the activities of the Association during the preceding financial year; and
(ii) the financial statements of the Association for the preceding financial year submitted by the Committee in accordance with Part 7 of the Act; and
(iii) to elect members of the Committee
The Annual General Meeting may also conduct any other business of which 21 days’ notice has been given in accordance with the Rules.

This is a reminder that all persons aged 12 years and 2 months or over, must show proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a medical exemption as a condition of entry to all indoor areas of The Club House.

Upon entry please ensure that you Scan in using QR Code or record details on manual system provided and show details of vaccination upon request to club staff or officials.

We thank you for co-operating with directives from The Victorian Government.

Work on installation of the new lift will commence on 22nd November and from that date access to the front of the building through the Beardsworth Ave gates will be blocked from public use until just before Christmas.

Over the Christmas break, the access to the front of building from Beardsworth Ave will be reinstated, with the removal of the temp fencing.

In mid Jan, this temp fencing will be erected once more, and the access will be once again blocked until such time as the blockwork (lift shaft) has been finished on the outside of the building and the lift is installed.

Carparking on Beardsworth Avenue will a*o be impacted during the construction period and patrons may need to use space within the precinct to park vehicles.

Completion is expected late March 2022 and from that date we will be excited to offer all those who find it difficult to access the upstairs Social Rooms using the stairs with a 1st class ride in the new lift.
