Round 10 for seniors and our premier league head to Footscray. For our juniors they round out the first half of the season this weekend with the under 8 and under 10s heading to Elwood for the end of season carnival

The senior teams have now completed half the season and are looking good. Three of the PL/PLR teams are in the top six, ardour pennant metro women have metro south on top while metro east and pennant E are also in the top four. Men's pennant A, B and D are in the top four, while pennant E was edged out on the weekend.
Midweek teams had a strong round 8 with Silver open taking the points and Black a draw with Waverley, while juniors saw 16 boys shield a win over Burra, and the 16 girls shield, 14 district and 16 boy pennant get most wanted points.

Nathan Ephraums is set to bring up 100 caps for the Kookaburras when we take on England tonight 💯

From Southern United Hockey Club in Melbourne to the international stage, “Neph” debuted at just 20 against Great Britain in the FIH Pro League.

After COVID-impacted seasons in 2020–21, he broke out in 2022 with 24 matches, 17 goals, and a Commonwealth Games gold medal.

Since then, he’s been a mainstay of the Kookaburras, featuring at the 2023 World Cup and 2024 Olympic Games.

A crafty forward with a knack for creating something out of nothing, Neph has 39 goals from 99 games - putting his body on the line, pouncing on any loose ball he sees, and winning crucial corners for the team.

And hockey is back this weekend. Come and support our premier league teams on Sunday against Altona to see some fast paced, quality hockey. Altona's men are on a high after a win against Doncaster and Camberwell, our teams would love your support.

Friday night is full at the Spice Bowl with four teams at home and Pennant A early on Saturday 11am at home, to start a full Saturday.

We as a club, as a community, commenced raising funds for the Peter Mac Cancer Foundation in 2011. As at the end of 2025 we had raised $138,954.41 for Peter Mac.

Our premier league are split on Sunday with the men heading to Elgar Park and the women Albert Park. A busy weekend at the Spice Bowl with 3 games Friday night, and a full card for Saturday morning. The weekend pennant teams with women on Saturday and the men on Sunday.
