Perth Cricket Club The Perth Cricket Club was formed in 1862. In 1878 the Perth and Metropolitan clubs amalgamated, continuing under the name Metropolitan Cricket Club. committee.

The Western Australian Cricket Association was formed in 1885 with the Metropolitans club mainly instrumental in the formation of the WACA. George Parker, captain of Metropolitans, was chairman of the first W.A.C.A. With the introduction of electorate cricket in 1898 The Metropolitans club became the East Perth club, retaining its base at the WACA ground. In 1955 the name was changed to Perth Cric

ket Club and three years later the club moved its headquarters to Lathlain Park. In 1968 the Perth Cricket Club moved to its present location at Fletcher Park, Carlisle. On 11th November 2012 a luncheon was held to celebrate the 150th year since the formation of the Perth Cricket Club. The Team of the Century from 1912 to 2012 was announced. The long history of the Perth and East Perth cricket clubs has produced some of the finest cricketers seen in this state.

SEMI FINAL SUNDAY. TWO TEAMS. ONE CLUB.

This weekend, our U17s and A-Grade women take the field in their semi-finals at Fletcher Park — and the entire club has every reason to be proud.

Both teams have pushed their way into the finals series, and, for our inaugural A-Grade side, this moment is even more significant. In their very first season, they have not only competed — they have made a statement.

Led by the youngest A-Grade captain in the competition, this group represents the future of our club. Fearless, determined, and ready.

Now it’s our turn.

We want players, families, supporters, and the entire club community down at Fletcher Park to bring the energy and get behind these teams. Finals cricket this good deserves a crowd.

Let’s show up. Let’s be loud. Let’s make it count.
