NATIONAL WATER POLO DAY 🤽‍♂️🤽‍♀️
Come & Watch, Then Come & Play! 💦

This Saturday, we’re celebrating National Water Polo Day with a FREE Come & Try event at Stromlo Leisure Centre!

Come along, watch some water polo in action, then jump in and have a go yourself. No previous water polo experience is needed - our clubs, coaches and players will be there to show you the basics and help you get involved.

👥 Boys & girls 10+ • Adults welcome too!
🏊 Participants must confidently swim 25m
💰 FREE to participate - Stromlo Leisure Centre entry fees apply.
🍔 Free food & drinks will also be available for participants on the day.

And if you enjoy it, our local clubs will be there to help you find the right place to keep playing, with junior, senior, and social options available for the 2026/27 season.

Looking for something new to try in the pool? Come and give water polo a go! 🙌

Join Wagga Wagga Water Polo this Saturday, 12 September, as we celebrate National Water Polo Day with a FREE Come & Try session at Oasis Regional Aquatic Centre! 💦

🗓️ Saturday 12 September 2026
⏰ 1:00pm – 2:00pm
📍 Oasis Regional Aquatic Centre, Wagga Wagga
💰 FREE!

Open to children and young people of all abilities, with no previous water polo experience required. Our coaches and players will take you through some basic skills, fun games and everything that makes water polo such a great team sport. 🤽‍♀️

Whether you’re looking to try a new sport, get more active in the water or simply have some fun with friends, this is a great opportunity to jump in and give it a go!

NATIONAL WATER POLO DAY – THIS SATURDAY! 🤽‍♂️🤽‍♀️

We’re getting ready to celebrate National Water Polo Day this Saturday 12 September with our WPACT Come & Try Event at Stromlo Leisure Centre! 🎉

🗓️ Saturday 12 September
⏰ 12:00pm–3:00pm
📍 Stromlo Leisure Centre

Come along, watch some water polo in action and then jump in the pool and have a go yourself! No water polo experience is required, with the event open to boys and girls aged 10+, as well as adults. Participants just need to be able to confidently swim 25m.

There’ll also be local clubs at the event to help newcomers find a club and get involved in the 2026/27 season. 💙

National Water Polo Day is being celebrated across Australia, with events happening throughout the weekend and coming week.
