A reminder that Tuesday 31 May will be the last day for COVID-19 jabs at the AIS Arena Vaccination Clinic.
It has been great to host the wonderful ACT Health Canberra Health Services staff in providing this valuable service for the ACT community. Shout out also to our amazing Venue Staff, Trippas White Group caterers and Spotless cleaners for their services in support of the Clinic.
The AIS Arena COVID-19 vaccination clinic will close on Tuesday 31 May 2022. Our high vaccination rates and low demand means staff can be redeployed to other roles.
The AIS Arena has helped Canberra become one of the most vaccinated cities in the world.
Since opening in September last year, the AIS has delivered close to 286,000 COVID-19 vaccinations. At its height, there were almost 23,000 doses weekly.
Walk-ins at the AIS Arena will continue to be available for those aged 5 years and over until 31 May. Please note it will not be open on Reconciliation Day (30 May).
If you’d prefer to make a booking at the AIS, call us on 5124 7700 (8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday) or book online using MyDHR (www.mydhr.act.gov.au).
Free COVID-19 vaccines continue to be available from:
🩺 participating GPs
💊 pharmacies, and
👩⚕️ the Access and Sensory clinic in Weston.
Use the Vaccine Clinic Finder to find one near you https://covid-vaccine.healthdirect.gov.au/booking/
If you have a vaccination in June onwards, ACT Health will contact you to discuss your options. This includes moving your appointment forward if possible.
