The Club has a long and successful history of which we all can be proud of. The Club has aided the development of many junior players into the ranks of Senior Competition in addition to players making it into the ranks of the NBL / WNBL such as Luc Longley. The Club has been successful over the years, and remains strong today because of the great people who have volunteered their services for peri

ods in that time. The coaches, managers and volunteers of today hold the baton of the next era of the Ginninderra Rats Basketball Club.

Tough assignment for our Under 16 Div 2B Desert Rats today, taking on an undefeated Vikings crew. The Rats boys managed to pepper the scoreboard consistently across the four quarters but couldn’t steal the dub, falling 25-47. Great season team - huge thanks to Coach Joel!

After a frustrating first half where shots simply refused to fall, the Under 12 Div 3 River Rats roared back into the contest after the long break. An 11-7 second half forced the game to OT - not once, but twice!!!

Two quick buckets in the second period of overtime gave Rats the edge, grabbing the semi-final win over top-seeded Gungahlin Flames 22-17.

An epic win. Congrats Coach Meagan and girls!!!
