⚠️ Important safety information – Today

Today (Monday 27 July) at 2:00 pm (ACT time), a national AusAlert test will be sent to mobile devices.

A Critical Alert may cause your device to vibrate, light up and play a loud sound, even if it is on silent or Do Not Disturb.

If you use a hidden or safety phone, receiving the alert could put your safety at risk. If it is safe to do so:

✈️ Turn the device off or switch on aeroplane mode before 1:00 pm
⏰ Keep it off or in aeroplane mode for 24 hours
⌚ Check any other hidden or connected devices
πŸ›‘οΈ Only take these steps when it is safe to do so

Official AusAlert safety guides are available in 19 languages:
https://www.ausalert.gov.au/community-resources/staying-safe-ausalert

🚨 In an emergency, always call Triple Zero (000).

Please share this information safely with anyone who may need it.

🏏🌟 Strong Clubs Build Strong Communities 🌟🏏

Great clubs are about more than what happens on the field.

They're places where people feel welcome, supported and connected. They're built on strong leadership, positive culture and dedicated volunteers who help their communities thrive.

Join us for a FREE Community Sport Leadership Forum designed for club leaders, committee members, coaches, volunteers and emerging leaders across the ACT sporting community.

βœ… Building positive club culture
βœ… Supporting wellbeing in your club
βœ… Creating welcoming and inclusive environments
βœ… Practical leadership lessons you can put into action straight away
βœ… Real stories and experiences from across the ACT sporting sector

Meet the panel:

🎀 Peter Harris – Community wellbeing advocate and Winnunga Warriors Basketball Club representative

🎀 Andrew Welsford – Regional Manager, Golf NSW/ACT, with extensive experience in participation, coaching and club development

🎀 Clive Rose – Former Hobart Hurricanes player and current ACT Meteors Head Coach, sharing insights on leadership, culture and coaching

Whether you're a president, coach, volunteer, committee member or future club leader, you'll leave with practical ideas to help strengthen your club and community.

Strong clubs don't happen by accident. They're built by passionate people who care about their members and the communities they serve.
