📍 Partnachklamm Loop with Kids
Narnia has nothing on the Partnachklamm in winter ❄️
What started as a normal gorge walk turned into a spontaneous loop - and it made the whole day even more special.
After leaving the gorge, we followed the signs toward the Graseckbahn 🚠 and walked along the Partnach river. At the trail fork, we turned left and climbed a narrow, snowy path through a quiet winter forest, where snow‑covered pines and the white trail made everything feel magical.
Halfway up, we reached the Wettersteinblick suspension bridge, which quickly became a highlight. The boys loved crossing it, and the views over the valley were incredible.
Soon after, the trail opened onto a plateau. We made a short detour to Almwirtschaft Hanneslabauer, where the boys tried Kaiserschmarrn with apple sauce for the first time and absolutely loved it.
After the traditional snack stop, we took the Graseckbahn back down into the valley and walked the last stretch to the car.
The loop is just under 6 km and took us around 3 hours from start to finish. We highly recommend it! Winter was breathtaking, and we can only imagine how beautiful it must be in summer with clear mountain views and a beer garden stop.
