GDANCE Academy Canberra (specialising in Classical Ballet and the Performing Arts) is one of the region's premier dance schools and has been providing exceptional dance training to the Canberra community for 14 years. GDANCE offers the highest standard of dance training in a positive and friendly environment. You will find that at GDANCE the music is always clean, the costumes are age appropriate

and the choreography is vibrant yet tasteful. Our examination and eisteddfod results are consistently high, with more than 80% of our students receiving a DISTINCTION for their dance examinations. Many GDANCE students have been accepted by audition into The Australian Ballet School's interstate training program. Senior students consistently find work in the industry and are accepted by audition into tertiary dance and performing arts training institutions to advance their careers. You have chosen a dance school that cares. We care about safe dance practice so that your child is happy and healthy. We care that our staff and students treat each and every person with respect. We care that your kids can be kids - that means child appropriate music, costumes and choreography. We care that your child is nourished from the inside and out. We could’ve waited for the “perfect” take, but this IS the perfect take. 98% nailed, two tiny slips most people won’t even catch — but that’s exactly what growth looks like.

Three incredible days of Royal Academy of Dance exams have officially come to a close, and we could not be prouder of every single student who stepped up and gave it their all. 🩰

A massive thank you to our amazing GDANCE team for the millions of hairstyles, bobby pins, sewing emergencies, pep talks, and endless coaching that made this exam season happen. You are the heart of this studio. ❤️

We are so lucky to have such a lovely, supportive community and a truly fabulous team behind our dancers.

Now we can’t wait to celebrate with you all at our open class viewings and share your dancers’ wonderful achievements with our dance families.
