❤️Yesterday I got to deliver a grounding session at the beginning of the day for KAWC - Kimberley Aboriginal Women’s Council at their forum…

👉🏾 My morning had a funny start… THANK GOODNESS I left home EARLY…

❤️I’ve had bits & pieces to do with KAWC over the years, I’ve delivered a sound healing to 80 women once with 2 sound friends, I went as an attendee/member last year and I’ve played music at their dinner before…

👉🏾So I arrive at Notre Dame, I bypass the sign in process thinking I’m only here for half an hour… I go to the front of the room and start setting up and asking people I see organising for microphone and stands etc…

❤️I looked around and couldn’t see too many people I knew…. And….. actually there was a lot of ‘Allie’s’ in the room for an Aboriginal Women’s Council… and….. MEN?!!!

👉🏾I looked closer at the T-Shirts on the organisers and the big lit up banner on the screen behind me, which said something about an Elders Forum…

🤪🤪🤪 I was in the wrong VENUE!!!!!!!

👉🏾So I found got the right venue… rushed there set up, left my phone in car… went back to get that… and ended up on time.

❤️I couldn’t resist and bought some instruments but really within that space with podium and mic, doing both the sounds and guided proved tricky so I leant on the words and instructions and the energy shifted into a space ready and arrived to begin their full day.

💛 What an honour to facilitate a wellbeing self-care workshop with all these amazing women who work across the Kimberley in challenging jobs.

👉🏾We had yarns….. read affirmation cards…. made natural perfumes… we smelled lots of Hidden Valley sprays and some Bush Flower essences and enjoyed a guided sound meditation….

💛Everyone sure looked relaxed at the end!

🙌🏽 You know what they say; ‘When women come together in circle, the world heals a little more!’ 🩷

🙌🏽 You know what I LOVE ?

💛 I love it when people haven’t been invited to sit at tables so they happily create one and invite everyone to be the EXAMPLE.

🧡 I love it when people want a channel changed, they are happy to get up and change the channel themselves instead of sitting there going - ‘No one invited me to change the channel’ - ‘they didn’t say, you should change the channel, so I’m NOT CHANGING the channel’

🩷 I love it when people act how they wanna act and do what they wanna do and create what they wanna see instead of going ‘there’s nothing here I wanted to see’

❤️ ‘Blame’ culture. What a cop out. The world actually doesn’t owe you. Neither does your family. Nor your boss. Nor your partner or friend…

🔥We have CHOICE to get off our bum-bum and promote what we love and create what we want/need and we don’t need permission to do that, so if you’re waiting saying no one’s invited you to yet - what a cop out - invite your damn self. You BELONG. You DESERVE. You AMAZING and IMPORTANT and you are ENOUGH.

👉🏾👉🏽👉🏾telling that SAME story how someone else did ‘wrong’ by your rule book is your whole reason to stay stuck, Giving away ALL your power!

But sometimes I just have to.
🙌🏽💛 I was talking about this the other day…
And the other week and yesterday and well, I talk about it a lot.
👉🏽 Fitting in. Trying to push triangles through circles…. Learning to obey. Learning to listen to authority and not your inner guidance.
⭐️I’m not saying there’s bad people at schools, mostly everyone’s hearts are in the right place, hell, I worked at one for 17 years
But
🙌🏽The way they are set up doesn’t encourage much out of the box thinking, questioning, challenging things….
💛You get in trouble… you get ostracised by the herd.. but being in BUSINESS
👉🏾You HAVE to be creative.
👉🏽Your difference is your EDGE, it’s what you want to PROMOTE
⭐️Challenging the status quo helps you grow…
🔥and your inner guidance is SO VALUE. Trusting yourself and your gut feeling or as us mob say your ‘Liyarn’

It kinda wasn’t me, I was a bit of a people pleaser BUT I also was a questioner which rubbed lots of people the wrong way so I had a lot of love-hate relationships with authorities…

👉🏾 Do you know your ‘Venus’ sign? (What sign/constellation Venus was in when you were born?)

🔥 I ran some women’s circles years ago that focussed on a different aspect each week; your Moon sign, your Mercury, Venus, etc… there was a lot of preparation for me… the women loved it.

I recently got asked if I’d run some astrology sessions again….

🧡I’ve been watching the Moon (as usual!) with Venus and Mercury this week as she made her way from the Sun both in Libra (new Moon) then through Scorpio alongside Venus (Retro) & Mercury (Retro on 24th) and then onto Sag… moving every 2 and a bit days…

🔥Venus seems in a hurry now to hang out in the underworld and soon will ‘vanish’ only to reappear or ‘rise’ again 40 days later as the Morning Star…

👉🏾 Biblical?! A bit!

💛A deep dive into all our relationships… could be a heap of arguments or could be some beautiful open safe perhaps challenging but constructive and growth oriented conversations….

🩷👉🏾 These powerful sounding shakers only selectively used ‘sometimes’ in a Sound Healing… maybe around a new Moon or Equinox/Solstice and definitely at my end of year 30 Dec Sound Bath…

👉🏾Their sound is STRONG… crackles like a fire… cuts through thick energy… burns up stuck frequencies to allow entrainment of the new vibration…
