Please note: Unfortunately due to personal circumstances I have to announce that I need to step back to focus on some other challenges 😪..... but its not the end, rather a new chapter with a new structure and team to support operations and some exciting news to come soon 😀

Thanks to everyone that supported tonight and the incredible people that volunteered time to help set up, pack down, organise tickets and everything in between 🙏

So many shout outs and acknowledgements owed, but for tonight we had some cracking matched fights, some entertaining exhibitions for a few first timers and the return to the ring for a couple of others to help these guys have their first taste of competing in front of a crowd, much respect to all!

Lots of lessons learned and we apologise to those that missed out 😪 we take on the feedback and both ourselves and the venue acknowledge we learned a few lessons tonight as we simply needed more space, but are also stoked to sell out the return of live amateur boxing in Burnie while The Menai staff did a top job serving some great meals and making sure the bar had a well stocked selection on offer 🙏

Thank you to Burnie City Council for their support in providing a platform to compete locally, The Menai Hotel for hosting us and putting on the catering and bar, the Tasmanian Boxing League for all your work as always and your support to bring boxing back to Burnie.

To Cradle Coast Care, you guys have been great supporters and are a big part of tonight also, not just as sponsors but as genuine community partners - thank you!

Wynyard Pizza, our medal sponsors (and contributed generously to our raffle prizes). Thanks for coming on board! Make sure you check these guys out for a feed when in Wynyard!

A big shout out to Burnie Trophy Centre for their work preparing the medals for tomorrow night and supporting the fighter of the night award! If you need trophies or medals these guys have been great to deal with and we are proud to be using a high quality local business!

Also, thank you to pizza and Cradle Coast Care for their support - we look forward to having you both in the house Saturday night!

*Cheers to Brayden for collecting and keeping them safe ready for our boxers tomorrow night!

We have a few exhibition matches lined up for Saturday night, with some of our up and coming talent and a few local community members represented, including a couple of local entertainers, a couple of footballers and an employee/boss combination 🥊🥊 all accompanied by some well matched fights on the Tasmanian Boxing League card, thank you to the official matchmaker 🙏

The official card will be released shortly, but with some late illnesses striking a couple down and late injuries, there has had to be a few changes - so we will update you soon, but rest assure there are some cracking match ups on the official card to showcase some of our top state talent.
Thank you to the athletes, coaches and support crew that are traveling 🥊🥊

A big shout out to all, especially those that are stepping in the ring for the very first time 🥊🥊
