Meet Dean — U12s coach.

When he’s not on the sidelines, Dean works in aviation rescue firefighting and has 25 years of service in the Australian Army — so staying calm under pressure comes pretty naturally.

Now in his fifth year coaching at Buninyong, Dean brings plenty of experience, energy and commitment to our U12s.

Meet the elusive U14s coaches — Rhys, Lance and Craig.

For weeks, we’ve been trying to track these three down for a proper photo. We’ve asked nicely, we’ve waited patiently, we’ve even considered sending parents in for sneaky sideline shots… with very little success.

Luckily, while they may be experts at avoiding the spotlight, they’re also amazing coaches who give so much time, energy and care to our U14s.

Thanks for everything you do, Rhys, Lance and Craig — even if getting a photo is harder than organising junior soccer on a Sunday morning. ❤️🖤

Usually more at home in the water, Luke enjoys swimming, surfing and water polo. This season, Luke has traded warm water for chilly winter sidelines.

As the evenings get colder, our kiosk is stocked with warm food to keep players, parents and siblings cosy on the sidelines.

Pop by for a cup of soup, 2-minute noodles, and other winter warmers while you cheer on the teams.

Meet Nat, our kiosk extraordinaire!

Nat and her boys, Jag and Cruz, have been part of the Redbacks family since 2023.
Outside of club life, Nat and her family enjoy working and living on their local farm property, attending plenty of sporting events, and holidays by the beach.
