Buninyong & District Tennis Association 🎾 will be running a BRAND NEW junior competition through Term 2 on a Monday afternoon starting 20 April for 8 weeks.
The competition is structured so that players will play 6 weeks of singles and two weeks of doubles with each player receiving on-court tactical instructions (from coach Tomas Graca) during matches to help develop this aspect of match play.
Format:
• Singles (boys & girls combined); doubles in Weeks 4 & 8
• One set or time based 50min, long deuce, tiebreak at 6–6
Each player will play one singles match per round and there will be a Competition Ladder (however results are the secondary focus, the main focus is for players to gain better tactical understanding of the game).

About the Competition:
Run by Tomas, who has been part of the National Academy Development Program for the past 8 months, working closely alongside National Academy Manager and Wimbledon champion Stephen Huss. Tomas brings a guided junior competition where he will spend time on court with players, helping each participant improve their tactical match-play skills.
Competition is a very important part of every player’s development, and this extension allows junior players to continue playing matches throughout Autumn in a friendly and supportive environment.
