At Bundaberg Touch Football, we are committed to providing a safe, inclusive and enjoyable environment for everyone involved in our game.
Recently, we have received a number of concerns regarding player behaviour towards other players. Unfortunately, this behaviour has at times created an environment that does not reflect the values of our competition or the spirit of Touch Football.
As a community-focused sport, we expect all players, coaches, officials and spectators to treat each other with respect, both on and off the field.
Our game is built on the values of:
🔹 Respect all participants and decisions
🔹 Encourage everyone – this is amateur sport
🔹 Show sportsmanship at all times
🔹 Play for enjoyment
🔹 Educate yourself on the rules and expectations
🔹 Conduct yourself courteously
🔹 Treat everyone fairly
There is no place for abuse, intimidation, harassment or unsportsmanlike behaviour at Bundaberg Touch Football. We all have a role to play in creating a positive environment where players of all ages and abilities feel welcome, supported and valued.
We thank the overwhelming majority of our members who consistently demonstrate these values each week and ask everyone to join us in making respect the standard, not the exception.
